Is slight vibration normal at stop light?
I've read elsewhere that the A6 LFX should have no vibration at a stop light in D and yet in other posts, people disagree.
I'm just wondering if this is perfectly normal or if the engine is out of tune or transmission has an issue. When I put the car into neutral the vibration almost goes away. My last car was basically a tank so I never felt any vibration at a stop light. Just trying to figure out what "normal" is in my new ride. Last edited by intensifi; 10-23-2012 at 07:33 PM. |

Dealer verified it shouldn't have the vibration it does.
I sat in another running LFX Camaro and there was no noticeable vibration at idle. The dealer's suggested plan of action is: 1) Injector cleaning 2) If not fixed, check/clean/replace spark plugs 3) If not fixed, check O2 sensor on intake 4) If not fixed, upper induction cleaning They are replacing my convertible top next week, so I'll have them go through steps 2-4. I'll do the injector cleaning myself with a trip to Autozone this weekend. Any recommendations on over the counter injector cleaning products? |
