LS3 headers on an LS6

Is this a possiblity? I have read several different answers on several different sites. I have a set of 1-7/8"s ARH headers that I took off from my SS and a buddy just bought an 05 CTS-V. If the headers will fit on his CTS-V I would like to help him out and give him a deal on them but I don't know if they will fit.

If you test fit them and they happen to fit, let me know. I have an 05 LS6 V and there are way more header choices (and less$$) for the camaros then for the v1. I know they will bolt up to the head, but the V engine bay is significantly tighter than the camaro.

They would bolt to the motor just fine but the routing of the tubes will be different. Even if they do clear the engine bay and fit you would need a custom connection pipe to make them work with your exhaust.

I wouldn't waste your time, headers don't fit different platforms.

+1

Can't tell you how many calls a week I've gotten from folks who bought a "good set of headers on sale" that are off a friends LS1 but they wanna know if we can install them on their New SS.
