2LS feels slow out of redlights
Has anyone else noticed/ felt this?
Its a 2LS , 1 year old. with CAI. Its not really a problem but I notice that when Im at a red light the car seems really slow and heavy to get going, unless I pound the accelerator. The way I normally drive I keep the revs at or around 2k. Other cars just seem to zip by and are halfway to the next light by the time I clear the intersection.

The Camaro is a heavy car. Like most modern engines, the V6 is tuned for revs.
Low RPM torque is what moves a car from a stop. |

Those other cars around you are probably lighter and shifting 3-4k if they are that far ahead of you. Try shifting at 4k and see how many cars are pulling ahead of you

No problems with mine, and I have a Convertible which is even heavier than your car. It must be the economy gearing the LS has to get the 30 mpg rating.
You may want to consider a ported Throttle body to help with throttle response.

There's the gear kit from phastek. You'll need a rebuild kit as well. I know nothing about the diff in the auto V6s so I really can help ya there.
