Max volume
Im running a 2010 ls1,how loud on the stereo (ie 30-40 )can i crank it with out blowin the crappy speakers i got . Just throwin this out tbere . Cant offord new speakers but ill push these till they sh&));:t.........lol

It depends on what you're listening to. There isn't a set number really.
If you hear distortion ... Back the volume off a bit.

The loudest I can ever go is like 23 but that's rare and my speakers are pretty ruined.

cant measure by speaker volume as it changes in variables, i can only go to about 23-29 on most songs,(aftermarket system) without it hurting my ears

Optimum range on the radio, according to MS8 is 30. I think on the Oscope we were 30-32

I have removed the crappy dash speaker. I have the ******** wiring harness connected to a Rockford amp pushing (2) 12" subs at 500watts.
I have my stock radio unit with stock BA speakers audio set at Treble + 2 Midrange - 0 Bass + 3 Fader + 2 Rear I can go to to 31 to 35 depending on the song before it starts to loose quality  Everything from Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, Great White, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Giant, etc. sounds great but it could use a little more midrange. I want to do this to solve the midrange problem, I just haven't figured it out yet:

Im running the stock head with ********s wiring harness to the back..Two kicker amps,Infinity speakers with kicker woofers. Turn it all the way to 40...zero distortion.
Set your gains correct and the stock speakers can take a lot ..
