Bought new car for the wife

We bought a 2012 GMC terrain a few months back. I gotta say I've been really impressed with this thing so far. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a crossover with good gas mileage!

Are the Equinox and Terrain made in the same factory? I got to wondering about that after I saw the inside on an Equinox. Its basically the same to me.

I don't think so. I believe the Equinox is built in Mexico and the Terrain is built in Canada.

I wouldn't have thought that. That is interesting. I wonder why they don't. Seems like it would help bring cost down.

I think its lame that most all Chevys are built in foreign countries. Almost make me want to buy a Ford. No offense Canada.

Thanks! It sure looks pretty when it's clean but I have a heck of a time trying to keep my black camaro and her black terrain that way. I don't know if ill do black again or not after this.

Okay. First off, Equinox and Terrain are both built at CAMI Automotive in Canada. Equinox also has a line in Oshawa as well as Spring Hill, TENNESSEE. Which last I checked, was in the United States.

Now that that misinformation's been cleared up, we'll be picking up a 2013 Terrain SLE-1 sometime this month as well.

I agree, here is a list of what is made where. Many condolences to all for the loss of American manufacturing jobs.

Looks like the Equinox is made in Spring Hill Tennessee.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew there used to be a Saturn plant in Spring Hill. I didn't know it was up and going again. I'm happy to hear that. I'm sure you guys will love your SLE-1. We love ours. Just wondering, what's the difference between 2012 and 2013 SLE?
