"Sea Foam Motor Treatment is a safe and versatile additive that can be used in fuel, oil or added directly into the combustion chamber on 2-cycle, 4-cycle, rotary and diesel engines."
You have a v6 sir ....unless they are just talking about the combustion chambers for those

![]() Its a good idea to use something like seafoam before installing a catchcan. The inside of my DI V6 looks like its got 100,000 miles on it, when it only has 15,000. This is because of the PCV system shooting oil into my manifold, causing carbon deposits. Catch cans stop this, and keep your engine running clean and reliable.

I just need to do this, then install a catch can. Eff it, I need to stop letting the dealership bully me into not doing whats best for the long term well-being of my car.

Seafoam suggests every 5,000 miles; however, they are trying to sell MORE product. I suggest every 10-12k miles. The stuff works.

Seafoam in the tank will not clean the valves on a DI motor if thats what you are looking for.

I put some in my2000 mi. Harley one time for fuel stabilization over winter.Mixed it according to can info. The bike was new so there was no crap in the tank.Next spring it ran like crap.I took it to the dealer. When i went to pick it up the tech told me never put that stuff in it again.Don't know about cars but never in a harley again.
