So I got a copy of the invoice my dealer got yesterday. Does anybody know what this translates to?:

INVOICE: 06/09/09
SHIPPED: 06/09/09
EXP I/T: 06/19/09
INT COM: 06/19/09

Does this mean that they expect my Camaro to arrive at my dealer on 06/19 or that it will be in transit by 06/19....

Any help would be fantastic.

Doesn't matter. The dates are pretty much useless useless.

like UCF said it doesnt matter. But to me thats what those numbers would mean to me

GM invoices the car right after its built. They always put a 10 day in-transit time from time of invoicing until it gets to the dealer. With the Camaro, because of the demand, QC holds, as well as other start up issues the 10 day time frame could be on the money to as much as several months off. Especially with the QC holds. As time goes on that 10 day in-transit time will be closer to reality. From the date the in-transit expires(EXP I/T), the dealer starts paying floor plan charges on the car. I have seen cars over the years that showed up 2-3 days after invoicing.

I would like to see what happens with the all may orders. Because so far it seems that May orders are on track for the normal 4-6 week build time. I bet money that may orders arrive as expected.

Keep in mind that 4-6 weeks with any car is still subject to the dealer having an open allocation for that car. If not it just sits in the order bank until they do.

yeah i forgot to add that in there. But assuming allocation more cars should arrive in 4-6 weeks
