Looking for a kick ass sounding muffler- 1LE

hi all!

seems the only 1le locally has dual exhaust tips (?) but not dual mode exhaust. (think i am saying that correctly)

would a aftermarket muffler sound as good as the dual exhaust ones?

can i get the factory ones after i purchase the car?

its the car i want minus the exhaust. i didnt really want the nav. but not a concern .. just wanted the exhaust on that v8.

upgrading from a 2lt/rs.

thanks in advance.

Any of the SS sound clips would be the same. If you want the npp exhaust you can always order a car with it.

ya. the car is at a dealership. just wanted to see my choices before i say yes to the deal. i would have preferred the npp to the nav system and if i have to wait abit to get it, no worries.

thanks for the help!

Borla atak has a very raspy sound .. if you're fine with it then go ahead .. If you like a deep sound, then go for the StainlessWorks Retro Chambered Catback! its amazing and you'll never regret it!

ATAK, but everyone will just vote for what they chose

Love the decel pop, some hate it. Don't listen to those that say its not a deep aggressive tone.

Borla makes some great products. My advice would be if you plan on keeping stock exhaust manifolds and cats to get the atak. If you know or think you might get headers go with s type or touring. Atak in my opinion sounds bad with headers.

How about some Hooker Maximum Flow mufflers?
2.5" center inlet/outlet p/n 21614
3" center inlet/outlet p/n 21606

Just a thought.

I would wait and look for one with the dual mode. To me a 1LE without the NPP is like not having the black wheels.
