Camaro Production Halted This Week/Any Plant Workers Out There???

I spoke to my dealer to check the status of my camaro and he told me that the camaro plant was closed for a week because of union/labor laws they close one time per year between one and eight weeks, and he told me the camaro plant is only closed for one week because of the high demand, has anybody heard of this and if this is correct does anyone know when the plant shut down and when they open back up?
thanks!!!

I read another thread on this a few days back - I heard a rumor that the Oshawa plant isn't being shutdown at all with the amount of demand that's out there for the Camaro. Not sure of the validity of the rumor, though.

From what I understand the plant is going to close for one week not the two weeks that was scheduled. If they haven't already they will be working Saturdays.

im sorry i think if you have enough time to insert a graphic into a message mocking someone for asking a question that they did not know was already answered, you certainly had enough time to write a brief explaination, thanks for the people that actually did help instead of posting pictures of a smiley face beating a horse, that was pretty helpful

Making friends and influencing people. Hang around this or any other forum for awhile and you will learn that there is a certain etiquet. Calling someone a jerk is what's known as a personal attack, choosing to not answer a question or posting a smiley is not. Being the new kid on the block usually requires that you try to fit in, not the other way around. Take it for what it is worth to you. Welcome to the forum.
