That would be good news if it is so.
I saw an ad similar to that but it said "on all 2009 models".

It's sad when we are glad to pay MSRP, there is not another car on any Chevy lot that they are getting MSRP on.

Called the deasler, "they just put that in there" (Camaro) typical bait and switch.

How does something like this work anyways. Does it work if you are a member of any Credit Union across the US. Granted the Camaro doesnt apply for this but how would someone looking for any other GM vehicle get this offer? Does the Credit Union send this out to you? Do you ask them for information on it? I am kind of in the fog about this whole Credit Union thing.

That's misleading having a pic of the Camaro in that ad.

Bait and Switch? LOL No, They are advertising the different programs they have to offer, but no where in the Ad does it say which vehicles have which programs, we are a lot more thourough with our ads and have a ton of small print to go into the finer details. Some of these dealers imply a lot and give very little in detail or actual benefits other than attracting you into their showroom.

Irocnroll,

Pratically everyone is considered a credit Union member at most dealerships, the auditing process with GM requires proof of membership only, no special letter or certificate needed. You get GM Supplier price as seen on the invoice plus any other rebates that may be available. Some offers are not "stackable", so if for example you had a GM Credit Card and were looking to purchase a new Tahoe this month, you could use up to 5000 points if you received a special mailout from your credit card company with your statement, however you would lose your GM Supplier Discount, most dealers may discount the MSRP price and give you the credit card points. Of course at this time there is no special offers or discounts available for the Camaro, even though I participate with the ordering of these beautiful machines and have my perferences stored in the system, I like a lot of others hate to pay more than I have to, so I will wait until the heat is off and then get what I want

just a selling point more along the lines as a visual aid to attract you to come in.
