Injector options
Like it says, anybody not using id850s? I know there's not many options but there seem to be alternatives to these and was wondering if anybody's running them?

Yep, watched him playing high school football here, lol. Nobody on here is running any other injectors? I'm just curious how they were to tune, good quality, etc

All depends on how much power you are trying to make. Assuming no heads/cam, you can also use the bosch 63lb. Much cheaper than id850s, but not capable of supporting as much horsepower.

I'm running ID850s with my Whipple along with the MSD BAP and ZL1 fuel pump. I was running 630 rwhp with the injectors that came with the Whipple, but swapped them out when I pulled the Whipple off to fix some bent valves.

I am running FAST 65lb injectors with a Kennedy bell BAP and stock fuel pump and the highest I produced was 635whp with no fuel pressure drop.
But I have heard of amazing things about ID850's and will probably be switching to those with the ZL1 fuel pump rarely soon. sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

My LPE set up uses 63lb injectors and makes 675 rwhp, I don't know what % the duty cycle is but guess close to max. What kind of power are you trying to make?

Im running fast 89lbs injectors. Car made 725hp on the dyno. Im not sure what the duty cycle was but we didnt run anymore boost due to the motor being stock.

i just picked up the ID 1000s for my build, doesnt really help answer your question though. but from personal experience and running a few different injectors in my old car the IDs are by far the best. spray pattern, quality and impediance. i always had idle issues with my deatschwerk and RC injectors and as soon as we swapped to ID's was able to clean them right up.

By the time my mods are done it will be close to or in the 700rwhp range. I know Ids are supposed to be good but almost 1k for injectors is insane but if they're that good it's not a big deal. I've just heard and read about other vendors saying other injectors work just as well at half the price.

We've used id850's and id1000's. FIC has a pretty darn good injector also. We've used their 1000cc injector several times with a lot of success.

A small price to pay for Reliable Accurate fuel supply to each cylinder. I would not use any other injector at this stage of the game. Ted.
