Good Price?

I am looking for a 2SS with
RS
1LE Suspension
NAV
In Crystal Red.

I have found one, a little further away. About 60 miles away in Red Hot for 37,608. With what I was going to get with the other dealership that added the Sunroof but didn't have the Suspension and it was about the same price, this seems like a real good deal, to me.

I think I would be fine with the Red Hot, especially since there doesn't seem to be as many of them around. Although, she is looking for a CRT.

What year? Model? Options? Is it a 2SS/1LE? A lot of 1LE's are 1SS strippers with the package added to cut costs. $37k is a lot for a used car. Brand new you can get a well-optioned 1LE for $41K. Doesn't sound like much of a discount, one can be had for $33K or less. This thing better have every option in the book with <8,000 miles.

On Autotrader I see you can get a BRAND NEW 2015 Crystal Red 1LE for 42K if you're willing to drive an hour or two. Sit tight and wait until you can find a deal with under 12,000 miles for $33,500 or less. It'll come, you just have to be patient. At these prices, you can just wait for the next 20% off GM bonanza and pick up a 1LE with every option for $33,500.

Call these guys up, make a deal over the phone for $30k, pay a few hundred for a one way plane ticket to Arizona and take a road trip driving it back?

http://www.autonationchevroletarrowh...-AZ/2538535793

Totally worth it to save 7 grand and one hell of a fun drive home. Looks like it has everything but Recaro's. Even has NPP. One of the rims appears to have a scuff but maybe they'll fix that for you. It doesn't look huge.

It is a brand new 2015 2SS/RS Auto with 1LE Suspension, and NAV.
MSRP is 44,315 for 37,608. I figured that was a real good price.

1LE's are manual only. There is no such thing as an automagic 1LE. If the description is written this way something is a misprint.

If it is truly a 1LE 2SS for $37k that's a good deal if it is brand new. But you can't get a 1LE with a slushbox. If the interior pics show an automagic console it's not a 1LE.

Well in that case it's not a good deal at all. If it were a real 1LE it would have been. A slushbox with cast 5 spoke wheels that's sky high! I thought we were talking a 1LE with forged wheels & NPP. I can't see paying 40 grand after taxes and fees for that thing. We are talking luxury car territory at this point. A 1LE/2SS with Recaro's and NPP that's a smoking deal, but the L99's got cut out of all the good options on this platform. If I were you I'd look for a lower end one and save 5-6 grand if you must have the L99. 1LE doesn't make much sense without a manual transmission IMO.

How is $6K off of MSRP not a good deal? Yes, it will get closer to 40 after taxes and various fees, but probably more like 39.5

Also, I see that apparently the same hate on auto's exist here that existed on the Vette forums. This will be my daily driver. Granted I am on only 8 miles from work, but there will occassions where I will need to drive up to DC and I am not going to sit in our traffic riding a Manual.

Sure if it was my weekend warrior, I would be all over a manual. But that isn't the case.

Its not so much the fact that it is a manual, as it is on the high side of price for what you get. I wouldn't buy it personally, but everyone likes different things, I would look around for a bit and see if the price goes down some more, that price is true 1LE territory...
