What's Next for our LLT?

Just thinking about getting the last two possible bolt ons Ported intake manifold and res x-pipe/Ls3 catback. So i want to know what yall think about if there is going to be anymore mods for us?

I guess after this for me is some suspension, lighter wheels and better tires

I agree, you either go FI, or look to cams and heads.

Next for you should be,

Lowering springs, sway bars and a nice set of lighter wheels.

I agree with rtcat, the springs & sways make a huge difference. I can't imagine going back to the stock set up.

Do springs/sways make a big difference for a daily driver with no plans for going to the track more than the occasional run?

I am almost in the same boat as you. All I need are some headers and a res pipe and a plenum spacer then suspension mods. Already got some lighter wheels and tires lol . I have been thinking about getting that underdrive pulley but idk.

The cams/ported heads are way to much for me lol so I doubt I will ever get those.

Yes! I would also do the subframe bushings. Inserts or full bushings. Do this first.

Haha I totally agree...I don't mean to sound like a prick when I say this but since my car is a transformers edition my dad (who is the one that bought it for me) suggested I keep it to where I can reverse everything and not do anything to crazy.... Like port the heads/cams...so like I said I can completely agree props to yellow glide, Tracy, Steve and everybody else doing the cams/heads combo that's an investment but well worth it

Lol Lil Nasty, my 1LT RS isn't a limited edition so had no issue going with the R&D work and will do more. Keeping the option to go back to complete stock on a limited edition is always good. I wish I had just one of my early cars: 67 442, 68 GS. 70 Charger, 68 SS/RS Camaro. 78 Vette, etc - that I didn't turn I to a race car. I could have retired years ago.

Yes, well worth it IMHO. I like the looks of it lowered much better. Handling has improved greatly. I don't plan to track or autocross mine either, but wanted better street handling. Look for Eibach deal's and rebates. Shop around. I was able to get both shipped to the house for $440.

I just picked these up and plan to install these over this winter. Noit sure how much it will help for my street use, but I will know by April.

I agree, the bushing inserts from Pedders made a huge difference. In fact, I let my friend drive and he's looking for a new car but did not like our LLT when he test drove one. After driving mine he is now seriously considering the V6 camaro. One suggestion, when you get your alignment after the inserts, ask for the SS alignment and bushing timing. Night and day difference, it honestly feels like a true sports car. Here is What Rob had sent me when I did mine:
