ky traffic school

So my daughter got a speeding ticket and signed up for traffic school.Well she never took the class and with today being the last day guess what? I had to take it for her because she works 2nd shift and it needed to be done by tonight. Only good thing is that they used a first gen to show about loss of traction

I guess I'll preface this by saying I do not have children, and it'll probably show.

I wouldn't have done that for her.

Didn't want to but if I didn't she would have to go to court again and thats more of a hassle. And now she owes me. Maybe clean the inside of the car?

I take it she's good at owning up to her obligations, in general. There should be consequences. How long does the course take?

I do have children. I bought my son a 98 Camaro (V6) and told him this is a privilege, and as long as the insurance does not increase, I will pay it. However, if you f*** up, and it will cost you. Within the last year and a half, he has backed in to 2 cars, and he has received 3 tickets. 1 - 50 in a 35 - Careless Operation, 2 - Following too closely (he was tailgating a MARKED cop car), 3 - 80 in a 65 (charged as 70 in a 65). I made him pay all of his fees, and he is now having to pay his own insurance.

She paid all the fines plus the $50.00 to take the class, about $200.00 in all

For my son, the only way he learns anything is when it hits him in the wallet. He went from having a Camaro with no bills, to now having to work and pay 150/month if he wants to keep the car. He complained once, and I took him to a dealership (friend of mine was a salesman) and started talking about trading the car in for a used Kia. I have never heard anything else from him.

Why does this sound so familiar? At least I never hit anything...yet.

The Kia part made me laugh out loud. Good one.

He tried to tell me that it was dark and that the reverse lights were not bright enough for him to see. I guess he was forgetting that I drove the same car, and that I wasn't falling for it.

When the guy pulled the 6-7 year old Optima around to the front of the building, my son looked like someone was ripping his heart out. Poor kid, but it got the point across.

His on the left, Mine on the right.

You've done good, sir. There needs to be consequences.
