Need Help With BMR Trailing Arms and Bushings

I can't seem to get the outer part of the trailing arm to slide up onto the bushings. Seems like the bushing is too thick for the arm to slide in. Anyone have any tips on how to get the trailing arm on?

Great, they can be a pain -- mine were even tighter and I had to expand them -- they just didn't want to go on period...

Glad you got them in...

Just finished getting mine on. Couldn't find anyplace on Labor Day that rent or sold the expansion jaws. Replaced the original BMR trailing arm outer bush V1 with a Pfadt when they deformed and rear was getting squirrelly. Pfadt's finally worn out(sloppy fit) since rear was getting unstable on throttle.

I ended using a 3" c clamp and compressed an edge. Slipped the BMR arm on the edge and whacked away using a nylon/rubber hammer. BMR sent me their replacement V2 bush after they stepped up and acknowledged they V1 bush did not hold up. I had it laying around so put it in. Pfadt's bush held up a couple years, but finally wore out, too.

To get the front trailing arm bolt to line up, I used cargo straps and compressed the LCA forward using the front cradle as anchor.

It seemed so much easier the first time years ago, but had all the suspension apart and loose. Sometimes, you just got to McGuyver it in... Ready for alignment on Saturday, race on Sunday.
