GM Logos on Quarter Panels
Anyone know how they are attached? Can they just be heated and removed?
I dont like them and would like to take them off, if it is possible without a bunch of body work. |

I don't know how they are attached, but they are on the fenders, quarter panels are on the rear of the car.

I'm pretty sure they are just my Corvette & Trailblazer SS, heat them a little and they come right off.

Yes these need to go. I was also thinking about removing the CAMARO on the front fenders, these I am pretty sure are just stuck on.

2 screw drivers with dental floss or fishing line at each end and slide it behind the emblem pull slightly back towards you and move it back and forth in a saw like movement at the same time . Then take goo gone and WALA its off. Afterwards put a little wax over the spot for protection.
That easy |

Yeah I picked up my Camaro today and the guy at the dealership pulled them off and cleaned up the goo for me. Simple as stated above with a piece of floss and a little work.
It is so nice to finally have mine. |

I removed the GM logos this evening. I used the fishing line and goo gone, this worked like a charm.

So...the emblems are fake? I mean are they just an adhesive or are they real with holes drilled into the body and then stuck on? Because if they aren`t real they would have to be replaced with `67 Camaro script emblems that are stuck on the car.

They are just stuck on with foam tape. They come off very easily as noted in the posts above.
