Driving around without my GFX kit on?

So I am looking at getting my GFX body kit painted IBM to match the rest of my Camaro. The company I am going with said they would uninstall the kit, paint it, and then reinstall it, but since my Camaro is really my only form of transportation I would have to drive with the kit off for about a week or so. Is it ok to do this? The only thing I am concerned about is driving without the rear diffuser. Can I drive without my diffuser on or should I wait and paint the GFX whenever I am able to keep the car parked for a week?

Also, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I wasn't sure which category this question fit in

It's not going to hurt anything. It will just look a little odd for awhile..
