Weird Lighting

I have seen some Camaros with a yellow reflector at the back as a tail light or signal light? So it would be like yellow, and then a red tail light.. Does anyone know what that is?

They were australian test cars? I think I am remembering correctly, over there lenses for turn have to be yellow/amber.

These are the Ausi light set ups. If you saw one here then someone had some connections from there. I actually like them. wish I could get some.

EDIT: Too slow.

It's required in Europe to have amber turn signals. The pics you saw were IVER or CFT cars in testing, spec'd out to be legal in Europe.

I think your probably talking about the Aussie test fleet cars with one yellow tail light on each side. If that's what you speaking of(sorry no pic) it's just an over seas thing, no yellow taillights in America. It's just the law over their that requires those yellow taillights

I changed my C-5 Vette over to the European configuration. There is a kit for the Vettes so maybe there will be one for our Camaro5's. Big improvement on the Vette.

Thx. I'm just happy it won't be on my CGM when it gets here.

Would love to see pics, I can't picture a vette like this. I kinda dig the camaro with yellow lenses too.

I think this is a mod I would like to do. I thought it made the 99 tail lights stand out. I think it also helps with turn signals to have them be amber.

I really would like to lay my hands on a pair of these tail lights. They are needed for the new Camaro that I have on order to be delivered to Sweden.
There will not be an European version untill 2011, so I have to modify the tailligt lenses to be yellow/amber, to make the car legal here. If anyone knows where to get these lenses I will make You an offer you can't refuse!
