Don't think early 2010s had this feature. I know mine didn't. Remember seeing some discussions about it in the Audio section

I noticed you have an older camaro. Perhaps this thread might help?

Mine didn't have gmmusicconnect. I had a lot of weird problems with my PDIM as a lot of people did then.

I tried it and I connected! It works well but it doesn't really utilize the whole sound system. The sound was really focused just from the 2 door speakers. After playing with the balance and fade it sounds more centralized. I like this just because I don't have to always plug in with the wire.

You gotta go to the bluetooth and turn it on on your phone...then go to aux...then hit the menu button to the right and go scroll to "find new device" and it should tell you to search for bluetooth devices on your phone...if it finds it, it will be GMmusicCOnnect or something like that. At first mine was a bunch of letters and numbers until I connected it, then it changed.
Thanks for all the advice guys im very pleased!!! |

Mine will connect with a USB cable, but not bluetooth. The phone connects, do I still have to go to AUX and find the phone again?
Thanks all. Jim

Yep!! You're not finding the phone, you're hitting aux, then menu, then Find new device...then go on your phone and search for devices and click on the GMmusicConnect on your phone. (it may be a bunch of letters/numbers at first til you connect for the first time) You should be good after that.
