I placed an order yesterday for a SIM 2SS RS CBG Rally. The dealer told me probably a August or September delivery. Is he correct on this. Are the orders that are being placed now being produced much faster? I don't want to get my hopes up but he says 6 to 8 weeks. It just seems like it would take much longer according to some of the threads I have been reading.

Anyone place a order in the last week or two and their dealer tell them the same thing that the range would be around 8 weeks roughly? I hope this is correct.

i dont know... i placed my order about 7 weeks ago and the dealer also said about 2 months .... spoke to him a few days ago and now hes telling me he doesnt know for sure but proabbly not until august or maybe even sept..... the fact is that dealers themselves cant be 100% certain when it will come in

I was given the same estimate when I ordered on 6/9, but it wasn't a very confident estimate. So are you keeping the 2LT?

I am....my wife is going to keep it as a daily driver. If she had decided not to, I would have kept it. We will probably be crazy for having 2 Camaros but I wanted one for my secondary vehicle and decided to get the V8 for myself. We will be Camaro geeks and have his and hers....

look at my timeline. mine went pretty fast i ordered the end of april was accepted by gm the following tuesday and i got my vin number yesterday. now its sitting in the yard up in oshawa waiting to ship

I ordered Jun 4th and my dealer said 4 months.

it all depends on allocations. i wish i had a nickel for every post like this. I would have a hell of a down payment. 8 weeks after you get the picked up by GM is a good estimate. It could be 8 months if your dealer doesn't get any allocations. 1100 status means squat. I should get picked up this week but until I do I know I am in limbo!
