recall

got the notice today,says it will take more than 30 mins to"FIX",that would be amazing since they never managed to fix anything so far

About the only thing the dealerships have managed to fix for me is the leaky brake resevoir cap other then that i end up with more problems then i went in with less then 2 days later.

The fix is 30 minutes, but they may need your car longer than that for scheduling requirements. Seems to me all they need is the keys.

I agree! I got my notice yesterday and don't plan on changing the key. I think it's ridiculous. I sign the waiver.

Don't see why not...but no need to make a special trip, just sign it when you bring it in for it's next service.

I signed the waiver and GM is still sending me the recall notice. Assume there is a bit of a backlog in updating their records.

I went to my dealer Friday, they said there was no waver to sign. I just told them I wasn't interested and they reported that to Chevrolet.

I just told the service writer at Macmulkin that I didn't want it. He said he would update the record so they would stop sending me notices. I just got one the other day but I expect them to stop once they catch up. I didn't sign anything.
