You need to search around the site a little. There are several threads on production. First you should ask your dealer for a print out of your workbench order. This will give you the current status of your car and also your work order number etc....
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15776 The above thread has hundreds of pages, but if you go through it you should find some good information. Here is the event code list that I originally copied from this site, but I've seen some others listed on here that have a LOT more codes listed. 1100 - Order placed at dealer 1101 - Order accepted by GM 2001 - Order generated to dealer 2005 - Order replaced with GM Prospec order 2050 - Order changed 2500 - Order sent to production - preferenced (dealer might have build date) 3000 - Order accepted by production control 3100 - Order available to sequence becoming more stable 3300 - Order selected for production by assembly plant 3400 - Order broadcasted for production 3800 - Vehicle produced (the vehicle most likely will be on it's way by now) 4150 - Vehicle invoiced to dealer 4200 - Vehicle shipped 5000 - Vehicle delivered to dealer 6000 - Vehicle delivered to customer Hope this helps you a little. Just search around the site and you should find some good info. Also, get the workbench order info from your dealer and then call every once in a while to get an update on it. Hopefully they will be cool and give you updates. Good luck. |

This is a great site. So many helpful people are gathered for the love of ONE car. Here's a thought, if chevy could come up with ONE car, great enough to draw the world together, on one site, with one love, ( is the shi*t ) gettin to deep? There would be no more HATE?! And that leads into an old pepsi commercial singing," that's the song I'd sing"...la dee da...
