TPW 2/25 - Interesting stats

I created a thread in the Ordering section of the forum for TPW 2/25 and of the 7 of us that responded 6 are 1LE's and 1 is a ZL1!!!!

Looks like 1LE's rule!!!! I wonder what the numbers are for others?? hmmmm!

My TPW is 2/25 as well! VR 2SS 1LE NPP. Those of you that live in colder and/or wet climates, what are you going to do about tires? I guess I will take it in and get 4 new all seasons put on it, but not sure what brand, etc. I will save the stock tires for the summer and track time.

I bought a used set of stock SS wheels with tires for winter. Keeping my original wheels in the basement till spring. Simple remount of wheels vs possibility of damaging the black rims with tire removal.

I'm torn on whether I should put the all season tires on different used wheels or stick with the 1LE wheels. I also don't want to tear the 1LE wheels up by changing tires on them often, but at the same time I love the wheels and always want them on the car! I was thinking I would probably put the stock tires on in June and take them off in September. Does anybody have a brand of tire picked out? In my part of the country everybody buys their tires from Les Schwabs, not sure what their options are.

Nope not me. Asked Becky today, hopefully better news tomorrow. They update every morning so if you get a Friday car I guess you will know on Monday. I was hoping for a Wednesday car, but Thursday will work!
It appears they are not shipping them right now, there just piling up due to the low temperatures, supposedly because of the tire compound there not even moving them unless its above 20 degrees.

I watched a show called mega factories a while back on how camaro's are made and it actually takes about eighteen hours time from start to finish to assemble the car and that dosen't include some of the components like the dash and transmission and engine which are assembled in other locations, so unless they work 3 shifts it would take two days to complete a car.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are camaro's, I guess.
