Need advice on how to remove brake dust from brake caliper

Hello guys,

I need some help with my brake calipers. I see so many cars with their Brembo calipers looking brand new. Unfortunately, I've never been able to get my calipers to look as good. I only wash them with water and soap.. I am thinking I may need to use something more aggressive, but I don't want to throw anything at it... I want to make sure it is safe for the paint on the calipers.

I may consider powder coating, but there are a lot of other things on my mod list before powder coating.

Any suggestions welcomed!

I just use some all purpose cleaner and a tooth brush if they are really bad.

Like a Simple Green? Then hit it with some wax?

Our new Deep Wheel Cleaner is perfect for your application.

We formulated it specifically to target heavy metallic brake dust. Any type of soap you may be using isn't nearly strong enough to remove that type of contamination, as you are finding out.

Check out this video to see it in action:

If you have a lugnut brush, APC and that brush is what I would use. A toothbrush works too, but I imagine you would get better reach and less hassle with the lugnut brush.
