Curb Alert Install Help

I just bought the Curb Alert system for my 2013 ZL1 vert and thought I could install it in the lower center grill area. However, I don't see any way to get into the area without taking off the complete front end. Anyone have any suggestions? I want to make it hidden as much as possible. Thanks.

Try lower down. I have mine mounted on the bottom of the front end, in front of the air dam. I cut an H-shaped hole in the air dam for the wiring. I used plastic adhesive promoter to get it to stick.

You might want to get a refund instead of installing it. A front-mounted camera/monitor will work much better, and costs less than half.

The problem with the curb alert is that it is a bitch to calibrate, and it will fail to alert you about half of the time. There's nothing more annoying than scraping when you are waiting for the warning beeps. I don't even have mine powered anymore.

My ZL1 is really low in the front and I'm afraid if I put on the bottom of the splitter it would be ripped of in a heart beat. It really needs to go in the lower grill area, somehow. Still waiting for any suggestions from other ZL1 owners!

Mine is mounted under the splitter about 6" back from the front. I drilled a small hole for the wire and mounted it with 2 small SS button head screws. There are pictures on the ZL1 section of the forum somewhere - I can't find them. It works fine except for -- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ght=curb+alert see post #7 and then look at the link in it. Best of luck.
