Camaro plant shut down?
DOES ANYBODY KNOW FOR SURE IF THE PLANT IS CLOSED NEXT WEEK FOR VACATION? MY CAR IS ACTUALLY SCHEDULED TO BE BUILT NEXT WEEK??
IF IT IS SHUT DOWN IS IT ONE WEEK OR TWO? WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CAR SINCE IT WAS SCHEDULED? HAT TOT GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE! THANKS |

What happens if the car is built and QC'd before the shutdown, but not loaded for transport? Does it sit at the plant for the off-week?

I heard that for the week that they are shut down, all of the employees have free use of any car that has been QC'd.
It was part of the new union agreement and was given to them in lieu of some of the medical benefits.

theMole, who worked there before retiring this week said they would be shuttin down the week of July 6th.
a lot of people havve reported having a TPW date of 29 June. now why would the assembly plant schedule production of cars for the week they will be shut down???????????
