Window switch mod ? Help !

Hey guys /gals....
Have an issue I'm sure many others are having or are not happy with... The window switch on the 2010-2011 Camaros.. It's ridiculous to try and get the window half way down or any other position you want without the window either going all the way down or all the way up.... Is there a mod for the window switch or a replacement switch that eliminates this? Just simply a pain in the ass... Thanks...mjclemm...

It's easy: To put the window half way down- Push the down button and when
the window get to where you want it, push it DOWN again, It will stop there.
Same but reversed for going up. Easy but it took me a while to figure it out.

Just don't push the button all the way. It doesn't need modded due to driver error

+1 and

OP...if you notice, it's a dual position toggle switch. Push or pull it ever so lightly and it wont use the auto up/down.

You must be one hell of a brute on that switch if you havent figured that out yet

Don't know of a mod for this. I do know there are certain messages that occasionally appear in the DIC requiring some "reset" actions involving putting either window up or down. Changing the switches might effect that.

As others have said, you really just have to develop a gentle touch with the switch - I have no problem getting the windows to move just a tiny bit (cracked, half way, whatever).

It takes some getting used to - I was surprised by how little pressure is needed.

Operator error. It's a two stage button (both up and down) with a 'click' between the two stages. Press/pull up halfway for manual up/down, press/pull up all the way for auto up/down...

Ok, I'll give it a shot, don't want to sound like an idiot, but all of the other tm cars I've ever owned were extremely easy to go half way up n down, but you barely touch this switch and WAM ! All the way down or up... Guess I need to practice...lol.... Thanks for all the replies, helps a ton..mjclemm...
