I was wondering if the 2013 MyLink radios could replace the radio configuration in a 2012 model. Anyone know anything about this?

Trust me, you're better off with the old radio.

YEa...count me in as liking the mylink...it has a few quirks....but EVERY infotainment system from EVERY car maker is working through bugs.

The 2012 cars can be upfitted with Mylink. 11 and 10s cant. They dont have the harness in the car to support it.

A 12 cant be upgraded with out the same work as the 11 has to have done to make it work, the 10 has one more wire to add then the 11 or 12, and non of them have the right onstar box.

No. It's not as simple as just replacing a part. And the radio and wiring harness interact with multiple parts within the car...many of which have changed when MyLink was added.
