Best Launching Techniques

I tend to do a lot of racing, so any tips would help such as
  • Best ways to launch from a roll, and from a dig.
  • With an L99 Automatic transmission I find that if you don't do certain things just right you're at a real disadvantage, especially from a roll.

This is what I usually do.

Turn TC off, Brake, Rev to about 2k RPMS, release brake, slam gas..

I don't usually hold the button down for 7-8 sec or w/e and turn everything off, should I?

hold it down till both t/c and stab go off. pull up to line and dont start brake tqing untill both cars are staged. u will blow thur the converter or overheat it . not sure what it does. but then start brake tqing . on stock tires look for around 22-25 psi in the tires. stab the throttle and go . if u spin start easing up on the throttle and roll into slower and slower until u get the time u lookin for. more or less try diff things to see what works for u. i see this all the time ppl tell ppl how to launch and what works for me and my car may not work for u and ur car. so try diff things.
