Best Wiper blades

Anyone know who sells the best wiper blades or which is a GOOD wiper to get? I am replacing my windshield in the next week and want to replace the blades with the BEST of the best as to avoid scratching the new window.

My wiper blades barely lasted a year and they were OEM. They have a little piece of wire sticking out and it scratched my windshield good, which is WHY i am replacing my windshield in the first place.

I put these on my F-150. They are pretty nice!

I don't recommend Rain-X. I got a set for my wife's Envoy and my G35. Both of them streaked and squawked not long after installation. Didn't keep them for over a year.

I read somewhere that the difference in expensive vs cheap wiper blades in minimal the trick is they all need to be replaced every winter. Get something mid range and replace. You will be fine.

Ive heard Armor All wiper blades are good, never tried them. I have Rain-X the expensive ones and I like them.

Sorry your OEM wiper scratched your windshield, that's weird that it came apart like that. I haven't had any issues which is why I stick with OEM. Depending on use, a year is about average life if your using them.

Funny you should mention that. I still can't believe it, but I am on my original set of wiper blades and I purchased the car in September 2009, that includes driving it in the rain and michigan winters.

I have however sealed the windshield every season with Adams glass sealant, and my commute is only about 4 miles and i park it at home in the garage, and at work in the parking ramp.

I've always had good luck with Bosch Icon blades.

On every vehicle I have owned, I have tried the most expensive ones and the cheapest ones. In my experience, if the vehicle stays out in the elements, the more expensive ones do not wipe any better or last any longer than the cheaper ones.

IMO, wiper blades are ridiculously expensive to begin with for their relatively short lifespan. Lately, I have settled in on Duralast from Auto Zone. They seem to be a good balance of price and lifespan.

I switched to Michelin Stealth wiper blades....very impressive and after about 1 1/2 years no complaints......and they look identical to the OEM ones.
