2 choices, need help.
I know another exhaust question.
Current exhaust. BBK shorties Flow master 40 axle back Option 1: Slp cat back with loud mouth II and a tune. Option2: Slp cat back with loud mouth II Slp long tube headers with high flow cats and tune. Worried about the exhaust smell with High flow cats also wondering about going with the power flows over the loud mouth II. Placing order in the mourning. Thanks guys for your help. |

high flow cats that are working properly have no bad smell in my opinion.
headers and tune are great for our cars...what ever you decide do headers and you wont regret it.

Options 2. If you are going to tune it you might as well do it right and get LongTubes to actually get some power. Tuning with Shorties is like tuning a stock car. The gains you would get would be all from the tune and not from the shorties..
Also, typically the fuel smell comes from a car setup with offroad pipes. For the most part, if you aren't cammed and you have HFC's you shouldnt have much of a smell. If you do, it will still be better then had you gone without. You giveup a few ponies with HFC's. |
