Yea. My drivers side door panel is a little scratched from what I'm assuming is the seat belt.

One of the biggest topics on here is the cheap interior components. I replaced my sills and entire conosle because I bought used and they were scratched up.

What are you talking about for protection? I've found that most of the scratches on the back half of my door are from the seatbelt buckle when closing the door after I get out.

I use Meguiars "Ultimate Protectant " It adds a nice slick surface , As far as your seat belt, Do you have it clipped on top of the seat with that strap?

boy, its sure does seem cheap. i mean, you just touch it the wrong way and there is scratch on top of door. gee, do i just tell folks that get in not to touch anything and put gloves on? is crazy when you spend this kind of money. but the ones i have seen are all scratched. does anything remove scratches on them? thanks

I always think this!! You just barely catch it with your nail and you have a huge scratch left in it. The first time I did it I was so mad at myself but they kinda fade a bit with time if they're not too bad. Can't notice them as much now

Well you haven't bought yet so you could just go with something different, you haven't even started about the paint.

No liquid or detailing sealant is going to protect against a scratch. The interior is cheap. Either watch yourself, apply kick plates from the access houses, or apply a film like 3M paint protection.......

because it is. how do you think they sell a car with a V6 and rear wheel drive for 22-24k. the really sad part is, the 40k 2SS gets the same cheap trim.

the ZL1 probably has the same cheap doors on the inside too. again, spend 60K for a car and cant touch it. maybe its a lighter material. if they put something really good on it, that would maybe make the car that much heavier than it already is. lol
