Plastidip RS Symbol Badge

Looks like everyone likes to change the bowtie color, I decided to plastidip my RS symbols.

I went with Plastidip Blaze green to match my hood stripes and my javelin stripes. Color is pretty close but not exact.

Simple DIY really. Tape off the badge and carefully knife out the part you want to plastidip. Light coats, wait 30 minutes between coats. I ended up doing 5-6 coats and waiting at least an hour before I finally removed the tape. You have to kind of cut the plastidip away from the tape or it will try to come off the badge.

The rear symbol/badge I obviously just taped and used paper so as not to get any over spray on the car. The front symbol badge I removed from the car. Not quite finished with the front badge in these pictures but you get the idea.

Looks good, I used blaze orange on my rims and it faded badly after about 3 months. Let us know how the green holds up.
