WHAT DID I DO TO MY HOOD?

Ok, so all i did was remove the front panel to gain access to remove my bow tie so i could black it out. When i put it all back together this is how it looks.Im sure it not the hood though,it must be the body.I have taken it apart numerous times, and everything is fine til i put the 2 star 27 screws back in.Apparently there are 2 little like arm thingies that these screws contact, and so to me, they must be bottoming out,but i cant see anyway i could of put enough pressure to bend these up,let alone, i dont even think i could of touched them.If i put a washer with the star 27 all is fine as well,Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

You need to adjust those 2 screws. They lift/lower the top of the front facia. There are small tabs under them that they bottom out on. It may take a few times to get it right.

the bad part is, you didn't need to remove that panel to remove the bowtie. lol

No, you just need to adjust the screws. If you tighten them down all the way, you are lifting the facia. Remove them completely and close the hood, you'll see what I mean.

True, I learned this the hard way myself. Easier to just drop a few bucks on a plastic removal tool set.

I didn't even use a plastic removal tool. just pull and twist slightly.

this is what the back of it looks like, with the grill still attached

you could try and push those tabs up, while pulling out.
