Those were the 2 finalists for me too!!!!! I went RRM ans SO happy I did! I also would not have the car without everything I got...2SS, RS, NPP, Racarro, sunroof, Nav, 1LE. Love my car! My view is...costs a little more, but order once and order right! NO REGRETS! I did not want to look back and say "I wish I had...."

Many mods already done as you can see

I think rrm it will be one more thing guys I like can't see paying a extra 4k for a 2ss just for HUD, cause I'm fine with cloth back seats front are goin to be recaros anyway and over a grand for hid and halos. When I could just put a set of aftermarket 10k hid in it I'm kinda on a budget as in under 40k lol, that's when I found that 1ss with npp boston and recaros for 36k I was shocked just goin look for a sunroof one first. Goin from a t top to nothing at all would suck

With incentives, a private offer, and asking around for some GM earning points....you could be well under the 40k and have even more options. Check out the ordering forum!

Dealer quoted me today for a build I can't see paying a extra 11k for the 2ss with Boston and sunroof the 1ss they have don't have sunroof or boston but is 11k cheaper then a 2015 that was closer to lightly used zl1 money. I'm thinking I can live without boston sunroof and hud for 11k lol, they said there wasn't a 1le ever made in 2014 spec like I wanted had to be custom

There really are no external differences between a 2SS and a 1SS and if you get the Recaros with a 1SS they are still leather just the back seat will be cloth. Other differences are the 4 pack gauges and the Color HUD and DIC, Boston Acoustics, rear vision package and heated seats. (and probably a few other minor things I cant think of right now) It seemed like the OP was more interested in choosing the color so I don't think anyone posted highlights of those differences.

No backup camera or sensors on the 1SS? That might be a showstopper for me. This thing can be sporty to back out of tight spots. Otherwise, I agree that the premium for 2SS and RS is a bit steep if you are getting Recaros anyway.

Yes you can get the backup camera with sensors on the 1SS. I have it on mine.
