Question Whatdya think... Camaro5 Handle Display - Tasteful or Tacky?

I drive into Atlanta everyday and I see Camaros periodically on the way in, and at lunch on the rare occasions I can get out, I see Camaros zipping around and have no idea if they are Camaro5 members. I thought it would be cool if there was a way to identify each other. I created these on an online website and just put them on today. It was around $20 total and is nice 3M vinyl. The top font is an italic Mobster font and the bottom font is a Star Trek font. I think it looks pretty good. What can I say, I am a geek.

Looks like you did your black out and stripes with friction tape.

WTF does that have to do with the subject?

If I was going to put my username on my car, it would read: "ItsBroke - keep back 500 feet"

Yeah, the odd, narrow stripes were like that when I got it from the dealership in Dallas, GA and have faded a lot for a 12'. I plan on getting rid of them and putting one wide one down the middle soon, but I am going to get a local shop to do it - applying vinyl is beyond my skills. I took some time off July 4th to do some work on the car and it wound up raining 2 days. My blackouts were the good 3m vinyl made for the car, but I impatiently messed it up trying to apply it in the carport and was testing with plasti dip to cover, but didn't turn out well either.

I have already pulled them off - live and learn. Thanks for the comments. I guess I will stick to computers.

Yeah gafool, that was me, my wife and son there tonight. I am usually driving up and down 365 every morning and evening too. My rims are black. Next time you see me there, stop in or flash your lights. Doesn't seem to be too many around here, but lots of mustangs though. Good to finally contact another Camaro fanatic around here ! I see a silver, with black stripe Camaro every morning heading north out of Gainesville too, but don't know who he/she is.

Good to meet you John. My name is Ron. I won't be able to meet anytime soon due to obligations, but dianeokie has organized a ride from Buford to Clayton and Dillard winding up at the Tiger Drive-in on August 17th. I have plans that afternoon, but was going to try and attend from Buford to Tallulah Gorge with my brother n law that morning.

I didn't see your name on the current list, but that would be a good day to meet.

I plan on having the car cammed next year with either the Night Fury cam or the Livernois 2R Max. I will definitely need a good recommendation for this installation in this region. I will give css a call when I need the new stripe put on.

I think it's a good idea but I wouldn't do it because I don't like decals on my car. My only suggestion is make the "camaro5" letters similar (or same) as "camaro5" font on top of the website page.
