Hey all, I notice lots of people don't like the AFM in the autos. I haven't decided if I want to just go the SS/RS route or if I really want the LE/RS.

When I look at cars around me though all autos seem to have AFM but on the build site you can choose to not have it. So I guess my question is do they make any from factory without it or would I have to order directly from factory to get an auto without afm.

If you get any SS auto you'll also get AFM, there is no option not to. The only way not to get AFM is get a manual.

This. AFM can be disabled though. All you need is a Range AFM Delete Module.

Weird, I wonder why they make than an option on the build site. Kinda misleading.

I was reading that it could void warranty though?

Tuning could void your warranty but not the Range Module. It does not alter your tune. It only works when it is plugged in and when it isn't there is no trace of it.

My AFM Range arrives today, and good thing it does. My car makes my heart race just looking at it. I get compliments wherever I go. When I put the pedal down she is a beast, even if automatic!

A big BUT however, but I have hated the AFM so bad that I have been considering trading in a car I have had barely 2 months for a nice BMW or Mercedes Sport (possibly even M/AMG). Yes I know totally different class of car but the AFM is an abortion that should have been killed during the initial thought process and I figured I would go with something else.

I have had ECO modes on other cars, usually just change shift points, start you in 2nd, etc. Nothing as crappy as the AFM.

This. No need for one on a V6.

If you choose the non AFM option, it will force you to choose the 6 speed manual.

AFM is terrible. Get a dyno tune to get rid of it and change the shift points and it is a completely different car!
