WTF is with the touching???? and other ramblings

Does anyone else have this issue? I come out of work or wherever almost every day to fingerprints on my stripes, not where I would have gotten them, but elsewhere, because people apparently feel the need to touch them to see if they are real or something! People have no respect!

Id put a nice no touching sign, but that would just cause people here to say "what a dick" and key my car...

Other ramblings:

I noticed that I always end up discussing the terrible rear sightlines with other camaro owners, its pretty funny and like a badge of honor...

Do you notice you have to duck your head at traffic lights cause the roofline is so low you cant see them? People look at me funny when I have my head stuck out the window to see the light, lol.

Price you gotta pay for the sickest lookin car on the road....

i agree. a no touching sign would for sure cause more problems than it would solve. some ppl just don't understand/care about someone else's new car and that just pisses me off

You guys are funny. The Camaros are parked in a public parking lot, people will touch. If people need to touch my Camaro to see that it's real, I'm fine by that. Scratching or sitting on it... that's a whole other thing.

Touching is the first step to a lean, mark, or scratch. I don't know maybe I was raised differently but even as a kid toucing someone elses car was totally verbotten to me.

Be glad it's just fingerprints and not a key mark or gum stuck in the keyhole.

I was brought up the same way but that doesn't change other people. I'm not guarding my car at all times, it's the way of life, people will touch.

This is very normal.. As long as it isn't a scratch, no harm done..Just beware there are people that will try to peel off your stripes to see if they are real.. That is something to look out for and is why I do not want vinyl anything..

step one: awsome insurance against vandalism
step two: an awsome wax job to guard against the casual finger rub
step three: park away from the mob by the front door
step four: put back $4,000 in savings to cover the fact that your gonna need to get it custom repainted after all the gawkin touchers and jealous keying hate'in SOBs have burnt out there facination. say after 100,000 or so units are on the road.
step five: put in super sensitive alarm that can register the @$$-hole who tries to key your camaro!
step six; chill, you got one, they don't
