V6 Camaro, officially the best bang for the buck
I've been doing research on other sports cars in the V6 camaro price range. Mustang 6, Hyundai Genesis, and too many others to name. For the price of the V6 Camaro, coupled with the horsepower and available options. Not to mention how sleek it looks, I couldn't find a car in the price range that came close. It even stacked up close to a lot of high end cars like the Infinity G series and BMW's. So there you have it, the reigning V6 champ

I can't remember, does the 6 come with independent rear suspension too?

Buy... Ford dealers are willing to deal more than Chevy dealers are. (Generally) actual purchase price would make a difference

I thought that the 6 mustang with the pony package was the best overall deal?
I mean, I wouldn't get one over a Camaro (under any trim) but was it not proven that the Mustang has outperformed the Camaro? |

I am positive the Mustang is overall a better performance car.

Yes, but I've test driven the new mustang and I didn't like the lack of features or the ride. The camaro rides much smoother.

I've owned nothing but mustangs my entire life. 5 to be exact, all GT's. but when I drove the camaro it just felt like a much better built machine.

yes, base model is a good bargain for a new V6 car(as well as the V6 mustang).

I'm guessing the 6's are a lot like the 8's. Mustang a bit quicker in a straight line, but not on the track.

Not that it is a huge difference but the Camaro is roughly $1,200 cheaper than the Mustang. One other thing. There is NO comparison to the stereo system you get from the Camaro to the Mustang. I've heard both and it is the difference between the San Francisco Symphony orchestra and a high school band.

I have to agree, for the money in march 2010 the V6 Camaro was the best option, for similar money at the time I could have gotten a a 4 cylinder Genisis coupe , and didn't love the styling, Mustang 6 at that time was dearly lacking. Today Stang has mad up ground but I still perfer the styling of the Camaro. next car will be a v8 Camaro!
