Actually our goal is to provide cats that will prevent a 420/430 code with the monitors on and have them be even more durable. Our new substrates can handle 2800 degrees of temperature. That's up 400 degrees from our previous substrate.
Our previous cats have had a great run up to now and have served ARH well but we now have the opportunity to provide a more efficient set of cats that handle more abuse without having to pay a premium to get them.

Clif if the car is bone stock the ARH shorties are worth 12-14 RWHP. With an after market Air Intake you can see as much as 18 RW if not more. This of course is with remaining portion of the exhaust being totally stock. They really make significant difference. Thanks for asking.

Hey there Ohten, Just wanted to chime in to answer your question for you. As you can see in the picture, the Shorties pick up hp and torque everywhere in the RPM range. This back to back test was done on a bone stock, untuned L99 car. Take care
