Felt like an idiot

So I took my car into the dealership yesterday for a routine oil change and I asked them to rotate my tires. I was in the waiting room watching the tech work on my car and I realized that he did the oil change but not the tire rotation. The girl at the desk told me my car was ready to go so I asked her why the rotation was not done. She went to the tech and he pointed out that since I have the RS Package that comes with the stock 20s, the tires in the back are bigger than the ones in the front and therefore cannot be rotated lol. Now I came from a 2010 LT without the RS so the wheels were exactly the same size, I had no idea the wheels on the RS models were different. So I apologized to everyone and we all laughed it off.

Just be happy the Tech knew NOT to do it. There are many Techs’ out there that would have done it as many are clueless!

Do you like the Camaro better than the Coupe? A couple months ago, I just could not decide between those two. :( Went with the Camaro though.

You're not an idiot - your dealership's Tech is. The tires can (and should) be rotated side to side... just not front to back, and it is recommended in the 2013 manual every 7,500 miles. Page 10-63. The factory RS wheels/tires are non-directional. If it were my car, I would go back and insist that they follow the GM recommendation to rotate the tires at the proper intervals.

"If the vehicle has non-directional tires, they should be rotated every 12 000 km/7,500 mi. See Maintenance Schedule on page 112. Tires are rotated to achieve a uniform wear for all tires. The first rotation is the most important."

Had a bubble in the wheel wall of the rear passenger side tire on my Si. Took it to NTB to have it replaced while I was at work. After work went to pick up my car. Paid and picked up the keys. As I'm walking to the car I notice a bubble in my front drivers side tire. My first thought was F I have to replace another tire! Than my brain caught up. They rotated my tires and replaced the wrong one. The clerk said oh shit we threw your tire away. The tech said I wondered why you wanted to replace a perfectly good tire. It got sorted but I will never take the Camaro to NTB.

Yes this.
I rotate mine side to side every 8K. Got a relearn tool to reset the tpms. Good oportunity to inspect brakes and such, and clean the tar and gunk off of the inside of the wheels. My stock Pirelli's are wearing very nicely and I think I should get at least 30K or more out of them.
