2 cars pulled from lake in Custer County, OK

Story says 2 cars pulled from Foss Lake today. One of the cars a 69 Camaro had 3 bodies inside and had been missing since 1970!! The other car was a 1950's model car and had 2 bodies inside missing since 1970 also! Crazy.....at least the families have some closure now.

The fact that they still had bodies in them is pretty sad and creepy all at the same time.

Crazy. I am guessing they ran off a bridge or something? How do you get 2 cars next to each other in 12 feet of water? You can't drive them that far in. I don't see any bridges or cliffs nearby in the photos.

I also noticed that on both cars the windows are still rolled up.

racing at high speeds maybe? The speed would of allowed them both to hydroplane a considerable distance out, while hitting water like that would of been like headbuting a concrete wall. The force could have left them unconscious or delirious and unable to attempt an escape or unable to complete any escape attempt.

Fixable? How much? Should I add a catch can when I am done?

From what I read, they don't believe the cars entered the water together... the Camaro was from 1970 and that older car they believed was from a missing older couple in the 60's.

Also worth noting is that both cars have rear-end damage, and no front damage. Perhaps they both slid off road in a similar manner.

Looks like a long stretch of Route 44 runs the east side of that lake. Loose control and you're in the lake.
