Short Throw Shifters

Hello,

I am researching short throw sifters for my car and I have a "company" issue. As in, whats the advantage why?

So, from what I can see, you have the following companies:

1. Hurst
2. Barton
3. TWM
4. MGW

the prices are all over the place so that makes it even harder. Can someone please explain to me the difference between them? Also, which is the more preferred and why?

Now I"m only talking about the short throw, not the entire assembly as I've seen TWM offer. OR, should I consider the entire assembly?

I'm essentially looking for help as in...what to get and why justify the cost.

Thanks

I would go TWM if you want a well thought out shifter, then MGW for the history of satisfaction. I personally had a TWM shifter on my SS/SC cobalt, and man what a world of difference. Precise, and direct throws without miss shifting. My choice is TWM.
