2013 Back up camera issue

i have a 2013 2ss with the back up camera but i think that at night it sucks you can barely see anything behind you, it so dark it almost looks like a black screen..Does anyone else have this issue and what have you done was thinking of replacing it but dont know what new cam to buy would also be nice if they had the line when u back up dont know if that is a software thing thoe

I think its normal, seems to be there is no night vision mode and that's why you cant see anything at night. Im upgrading to some LED Reverse lights hoping they will provide some light during the night time.

The line problem is one that doesn't sit well with many people. It is a software thing, and nobody that I have talked to really knows why they didn't add it into the 2013/2014 camaros. For the darkness issue, maybe it would be better to replace your backup lights with LEDs and see if that helps brighten things up a bit! I have heard many success stories with that. Let me know what you decide, and keep us updated!

That is normal if you do not have night vision or leds. I have 7 leds on mine but it it was a cheap brand. You could see but it was not in color. The color during the day is washed out and after about 2 months it is cloudy.
