Fog lights warranty question
I have a Camaro 2ls that comes without fog lights. My question is, Would i be voiding any warranty by adding fog lights to it?

No, unless they are hooked up incorrectly to cause other problems. But that would only be on that part of the electrical system. They cannot void your warranty on other systems.

I see no reason it would void the warranty unless you go crazy cutting wires or if you somehow shorted out something during your install then tried to get it covered under warranty.

According to a gm friend of mine. If you use genuine gm parts, those parts are actually covered under a different warranty if purchased from a dealer as long as they are installed correctly. However to claim warranty on those new parts you would need the receipt from the dealer and speak directly to that dealer if there was ever an issue with the non-stock parts. Warranty on the car is never voided for adding genuine gm parts.

i got my fogs from gen5diy, they plug right into the bumper harness. i installed them myself, really isnt much that could go wrong as long as you keep the wires away from hot things like the radiator.
