The price seems low. It sounds like the car was not well cared for and that can mean problems down the road. It might be a bargain, or might be it has other problems or history you don't know about. I would do a web search on the VIN to see if anything interesting shows up. May tell you where the car came from and some history. With 36,000 miles the bumper-to-bumper warranty has expired. I would make sure the top fits well (compare to other convertible Camaros in area) and cycles smoothly up and down.
Good luck! |

Car was cared for, but the owner lived in California but was in a career where he was flying every week to somewhere else, he got forced into a position here in ohio, and he had his car shipped from California to Ohio, not knowing about this damage, turns out some one vandalized it when it was parked in a warehouse in California( that explains the exterior at least) not to sure on the interior, but I think the interior will be the easiest and cheapest to clean up. The top looks like its great, goes up and down smoothly. |

As a 2011, has the car had all the convertible top bulletins/repairs accomplished? Run the VIN by a service dept and see if the top has been replaced or it's had 5th bow repairs done. Check out the top for any wear marks above the doors.
Also check for water leaks/damage on the rear floor. The original water management bags were too small and had some issues. I don't want to scare you away. most owners have had no problems, but the first production year (2011) had some issues GM had to correct. If the fixes have been accomplished, you should be good-to-go. All the sorted stories can be found on the convertible forum.
