Angry Avoid!!! Scam!!! Be Warned!!!!! Sponsored Whips

Angry Stay Clear!!!! Avoid at all Costs!!!! Scam Scam
Be leery of these guys, they want a $200 up front fee to cover a sponsorship kit. I have been sponsored before and they have NEVER required money for them to sponsor me. Their clerk Mitchel was just plain rude to myself and wife. They were extremely nasty to me and got quickly off the phone after I said I wanted to do was talk it over with my wife. I told Mitchel I was military and when my wife called to talk to his supervisor, he said he was the highest person on his floor and not to pull the military card with him because to him it is just like any other 9-5 job!!!!! Please pass this on to as many people as possible so they don't get scammed or have to deal with this A-HOLE!!!!!

DON'T DO THIS - #GETSPONSORED! We will give away $50K sponsors before Feb.! All you need is 5min and Click: http://www.sponsoredwhips.com/freeapplication.html

Military or not, I don't believe anyone should get a deal or be treated better, that's discrimination in my book. I don't mean to offend anyone, its just how I feel.

Military just another 9-5 job????? I worked a regular job for 32 years and never got shot at once while working. Military and law enforcement deserve any discounts that are offered.
I respect them for putting their lives on the line for us.

Good job on the heads up with these jerks and Thank-you for all you, and folks like you, do so that people like me, can do what we do. It's not just a job and it does matter and it is appreciated.

One question for you, you ever served in anything?

The irony here is that you are free to have your own opinion and share it because of people who are willing to serve. I may not agree with your statement but you are entitled to it.

Even if it's ironic that you have it because of LS3 and like minded people.

Why would Military even come up in the conversation unless you were expecting them to do something different because of it. If someone finds out about my 23 years of military service and does something nice for me, it's appreciated but I don't ever bring it up in a conversation like this.

Pretty sure I understand what "Realist" meant. No offense taken.

...and thanks for bringing the SCAM to light on C5. Seems others were aware.

I don't feel entitled to any discounts. However I will take my business to someone that shows respect to veterans. As a combat vet I get discounts at a lot of places. If you think that's unfair well I say to you I served in a combat zone while you were more than likely spending the holidays with your family, going on dates and living your life in general. I don't think it's anything short of earning the discounts businesses are willing to give. Again I don't expect them but I will give them repeat business for showing me they care.

Absolutely, I feel exactly the same way, but if I'm in a conversation with someone I'm not going to bring up the fact that I served in hopes it will change something. I don't feel entitled nor will I ask unless it's something I already know about. I see this too many times from the Military side and it sort of embarrasses me. That's just my opinion. It does make you feel good when folks say thanks or recognize your service and I'm grateful that most do. It wasn't always like that.
