Lol! Just because they're labeled Z28 doesn't mean much, 2012-2013 ZL1 parts are labeled with Z28 due to GM last moment/11th hour decision to use ZL1 designation for the current ZL1 instead of the Z28 that it was going to be. Parts had already been cast with Z28 at that point.

I'm thinking about doing the 2014 front end conversion. Maybe I should just do the Z/28 front end
