jackstand question

This may sound foolish and I already know the answer but it will help me sleep better. Right now I have the front of my car jacked up, two jackstands in the proper spots on the frame rails and the jack also on the cross beam for extra support. Rear tires on the ground, front tires still on the vehicle. Is there any reason why I cant leave it jacked up like that for about 24 hours?

Thanks

I have the jack and jack stands exactly like the first two pictures in this thread

No reason unless something is spilling out of it now. The front will look kind of high when you first set it back down but it will go back to normal quick.

As long as it is in your garage, no.. The jack shouldn't be really needed, hopefully it's on there lightly.. in case of earthquakes or something.

I've had my bird in the street in a cul-de-sac once on 4 jackstands, while I had my rims powder coated. hehe

Some people leave their cars on jackstands for years, or is that only in my neighborhood.

I can't see any problem with leaving like you have it, as has been mention hopefully it's in a garage and not outdoors where someone can tamper with it.
