SS Brembos - Back in Black
After just under 2 years, my factory Brembo set-up are starting to lose their "luster". Caliper finish and letters are fading, the disc hubs are looking nasty...only to get worse. So...I decided to paint. Went with VHT high temp black for the calipers and VHT high temp black engine enamel for the rotor hubs. Prep is key and boy did I prep my arse off, in fact that is the most meticulous part of the process...and the result depends on your prep. I ordered new Brembo high temp decals for the calipers in silver to match my rally stripes, they aren't due in until the end of the week. My theme is pretty much black with a bit of silver...besides the retro SS front/rear badging...which I'll keep their original look. I though they came out great. I'm not the best when it comes to paint and I do not have a steady hand but...I was surprised at how good they came out in the end. Happy coming 2014
